Adoption Fees
Adoption fees are donations to Schnauzer Paws Rescue, not payment for value received. Fees are based on the age and health of a particular dog, and the expenses for its care. A special needs dog's adoption fee will be determined on the dog's age and the medical care it will require. Adoption fees are 100% tax deductible.
0- 6 months $500
1-2 years $400
3-4 years $350
5-6 years $300
7-8 years $250
9-10 years $150
11 years and older $100
All dogs adopted from Schnauzer Paws Rescue have received :
A. Veterinary examination
B. Spay/neuter
C. Rabies vaccination
D. Distemper/Parvo vaccination unless age 7 or older
E. Treatment for worms and intestinal parasites
F. Heartworm test
G. Dental cleanings and extractions, if necessary
H. Urinalysis if, necessary
I. Bloodwork , if necessary
If a dog in our care has any other medical needs, they will be addressed. The dog will be groomed or shaved down if the dog's coat is very matted. The dog will also be evaluated for temperament so that it is placed in a home that is appropriate for its personality and needs.
